Dr. Daniel M. Silverberg

Daniel M. Silverberg, MD, FACS has practiced urology in the Lehigh Valley region for 29 years, with extensive experience in the treatment of general urologic diseases including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, prostate diseases, bladder dysfunction, and with specialized interest in microsurgical vasectomy reversal. He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Penn State Hershey Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine and Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
Dr. Silverberg earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA, on a US Air Force scholarship. He had his preliminary general surgery training also at the University of Pittsburgh, and completed his urology residency at the State University of New York – Buffalo General Hospital and Roswell Park Memorial Institute and Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY. He served two years in the United States Air Force Health Service as chief of urology at Luke Air Force Base Hospital in Glendale, AZ. He received his American Board of Urology board certification in 1982.
Dr. Silverberg is a past recipient of the United States Air Force Commendation Medal. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in which he was also recipient of the resident’s research prize, a member of the American Medical Association, Lehigh County and Pennsylvania Medical Societies, and American Urological Association.
